Meet Wes & Brit:
You may recognize his debonair smile and her glorious flowing hair from Wes & Brittany’s NYC engagement session last summer. Wes & Brit’s wedding in Brooklyn last October was, hands down, one of my favorite days on the job. Their wedding was (almost) as charming and beautiful as they are. Almost. 😉 I’ve been antsy to share their incredibly chic Brooklyn wedding since the moment I delivered it to the happy couple, but we all were patiently waiting for it’s grand feature on Bride’s Magazine (!!) this month. It was an honor to see my work on such a renowned publication, and I’m delighted every time these two gorgeous faces pop up on the Brides Magazine Instagram feed. Be sure to head over to the online post, where you can read all about the pretty details, the impeccable vendors, and a handful of personal anecdotes straight from the mouth & mind of the beautiful bride.
So what were a few of my own personal highlights? In no particular order: Brittany making Wes blush/roll his eyes during their vows (#sohot), a groomsmen allowing strangers to think he was a celebrity (Aziz Ansari), running into an actual celebrity (Emma Roberts), Bridesmaid Karaoke (with a golden microphone), the cake (which I need more of right now), multiple strangers making comparisons of Brit’s hair to Connie Britton’s (aka the ultimate hair compliment), and of course, every single moment that these two looked at each other (pure magic). Their complete and utter delight in one another is staggering.
Below are a few of my favorite images from the day.
Wes & Brittany, thank you for welcoming me into your lives. You have so many more changes on the horizon, and I can’t wait to watch you navigate life together. Love you both so much.
