Over the weekend, I had the immense pleasure of assisting Shang Chen during a gorgeous Jewish/Hindu (or “Hin-Jew”, according to the officiant 
) interfaith wedding at the Four Seasons. The blending of two cultures was absolutely breath-taking! And the Saris… oh… the Saris… the variety of color and details, I can’t accurately describe with words. I’ll have to show you in a future post. 
What I looked forward to the most was the dancing, and this group did NOT disappoint! I was thrilled to recognize this song during the reception, and most of my favorite dancing images were taken as this played. Bend it like Beckham is an old favorite in my DVD collection, and the soundtrack is played in my home frequently, but now this song will fill my head with visions of vivid color and vivacious laughter. This was an experience I will not forget, and I hope to have many Indian weddings in my future!
