Young Love. Those are the best words I can use to sum up this family. It started for AJ & Rhiannon when they began dating in high school. I was lucky enough to witness their relationship first hand at University, and even as they matured as people and a couple, they kept a youthful enthusiasm about each other that was downright blissful to watch. 5 years into their marriage, they have a new young love, in the form of Coben, Jonas, and Averson… who simultaneously keep them young and gray their hair.

Catching up with AJ & Rhiannon in person was such a joy for James & I. From a far, we have kept up on AJ’s musings via his blog, and seen the world through Rhiannon’s budding photography venture. Of course, through the magic of Facebook, we have grown fond of the kids before getting so much up close and personal time. Thanks to all of this, I knew when we got together, the wild rumpus would begin!

Though currently based in Phoenix, AZ, Rhiannon is actually from Massachusetts. This year was their first trip out East as a complete family, so Rhi couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have her family fun in her favorite city (holla!!) documented.

Meet the Teaters:

This is Coben.  He loves baseball (keep your eyes on him Epstein).  I think on the cuteness scale, he hit one out of the park.

Our original location was overran with Bruins fanatics (the victory parade rolled through just hours earlier), so we headed down to the water to catch some of the yummy light and much needed breezes. Jonas is a little rockstar and hammed it up for me hardcore. This little giggle came moments after his silliest pose.

This shoe collection could not go un-featured. Way to raise your boys with a love of fun shoes. Their future wives will appreciate it!

Jonas is the master of NOT standing still. What is a parent to do?

James corralled the little ones and played the part of human jungle gym so I could get a few tender moments of peace with AJ & Rhi.

After a bottle of her beloved milk, Averson let us know the had given it her all. I couldn’t think of a more fitting closing image for this family.

We adore you all! Hopefully we can make this a Boston vacation tradition for many years to come.
